Chistina Zogar

Christina was just 16 years old when she was charged as an adult, accused of a crime that reshaped the course of her life. The legal system saw her as a case number, not a young person still growing and learning. Held for two years at the Juvenile Justice Services Center before even being sentenced, she experienced firsthand the deep flaws of a system that punishes rather than supports.

A promising student who had been awarded a full scholarship to Howe Military Academy, Christina’s future could have looked very different. Despite these setbacks, she found hope and the opportunity to reclaim her story in the Speakers Bureau. Christina is determined to build a better future—for herself and for others. She speaks out to challenge perceptions, share her truth, and advocate for a system that recognizes young people as more than their charges.
