YSRP Receives 2020 Cecil B. Moore Award from The Barrister’s Association

The Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project is deeply honored to receive the 2020 Cecil B. Moore Award from The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia. The award is given each year to recognize an organization or individual who “embody selfless service to the community,” in the spirit of the incomparable Cecil B. Moore’s contributions to the Black community. YSRP Co-Directors Lauren Fine and Joanna Visser Adjoian are grateful to the membership of The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia for this award, and are thrilled to join the ranks of such esteemed past award recipients in a long legacy of justice-seekers. As well, we congratulate Kenneth C. Frazier, Richard Harris, and The Honorable Frederica Massiah–Jackson on receipt of their awards, and their incredible contributions to justice for Philadelphians.
