Co-Directors Author Article with JLC’s Marsha Levick on Prosecuting Children as Adults

YSRP Co-Directors Lauren Fine and Joanna Visser Adjoian co-authored an article entitled “Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Kent v. United States: Reflecting on the Prosecution of Children in the Adult Criminal Justice System” in the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (PACDL)’s For the Defense, with Juvenile Law Center co-founder and Chief Counsel, Marsha Levick. The article provides a history of the prosecution of children as if they were adults in the United States, and highlight’s YSRP’s innovative new approach to handling these cases in Philadelphia.
