On April 18, 2019, YSRP Co-Director Joanna Visser Adjoian was honored with the Haddon, McClellan, Richardson Award by Temple Law School’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA). The award is given each year to recognize honorees’ commitment to public interest and to the Black community in Philadelphia. Ms. Visser Adjoian was thrilled to join a long line of Black excellence in Philadelphia’s legal community as she accepted the award at the Temple BLSA’s Annual Celebration & Awards Ceremony, hosted by Ballard Spahr, LLP. The ceremony honored attorneys, judges and Temple law students. Ms. Visser Adjoian is grateful to the student leadership of the BLSA for this award, and to strengthening the fabric of the Black legal community in Philadelphia. Learn more about Temple’s BLSA.
